No, SteJosetex is a Franco-Tunisian company based in Kondar, a suburb of Sousse. We have a design center in Italy and a data processing center in France. We are a Tunisian company under customs control, so we work exclusively for customers outside of Tunisia. This allows us to offer advantageous prices for our customers, thus generating strong currency compared to the cost of living here in Tunisia.

Choosing the right raw material is the most important step. If you’re looking for luxury cotton with long, shiny, and soft fibers, Egyptian and Supima/Pima are the global benchmarks.

The USA and Egypt lead the premium segment, while India and Australia are emerging with increasingly high-quality initiatives.

HVI classifications (tools like those of the USDA or similar in other countries) and international certifications are essential to ensure product uniformity and value.

Screen printing uses a mesh screen to transfer ink onto the fabric.

  • ✅ Very bright and solid colors, even on dark fabrics.

  • ✅ Excellent durability after many washes.

  • 💰 More cost-effective for large quantities, but each color requires its own screen.

  • ⚠️ Less suitable for complex graphics or detailed gradients.

Direct-to-garment (DTG) printing works like an inkjet printer, applying the ink directly onto the fabric.

  • ✅ Perfect for small runs and personalized items.

  • ✅ Ideal for detailed, photographic, or multi-color designs.

  • ⚠️ Colors are less opaque on dark fabrics (pre-treatment is required).

  • ⚠️ Slightly less durable than screen printing with frequent washing.

👉 In short: screen printing is best for large volumes and solid colors, while DTG is ideal for detailed designs and custom orders.
